Detect & Protect Limited’s Retrofit Division continues to grow, with new projects secured regionally and nationally. As demand develops, we are strengthening the range of fire protection services and associated works we can coordinate for clients upgrading existing buildings.

Our approach brings the core fire safety systems and the work needed to install them into one managed package. This gives clients a clear point of contact from early planning and design coordination through to installation, commissioning and handover.

Installing fire protection systems in an existing building requires attention to both the system itself and its surroundings. Pipe routes, access, service interfaces and the finish of completed work all need to be considered together.

Our retrofit capabilities include:
