Detect & Protect celebrates a successful IFCC residential sprinkler audit with no non-conformities or OFIs

Detect & Protect Limited has successfully completed its latest IFCC Residential Sprinkler audit, with no non-conformities and no Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) identified. The result reflects the care our team puts into residential sprinkler design, project management, installation, commissioning and certification.

The assessment included a visit to one of our live residential sprinkler projects and an in-depth review at our Wolverhampton offices. We welcomed Joseph Neilson from IFCC for the day, providing an opportunity to review both site delivery and the processes supporting our work.

Quality assurance from the office to the installation

A residential sprinkler project brings together several connected stages. Design information must be communicated clearly, installation work must be coordinated with other trades, and the completed system needs appropriate commissioning and handover records. Consistent quality management helps our teams maintain that continuity throughout a project.

During the audit, our operations, processes, quality management and technical delivery were reviewed. Looking at a live project alongside the systems used in the office gave the assessment a practical view of how our procedures support day-to-day delivery.

A clean audit result for our residential sprinkler team

Completing the audit with no non-conformities and no OFIs is a positive result for everyone involved. It recognises the standards maintained across the business and the contribution made by our designers, project managers and installation teams.

For clients appointing a residential sprinkler contractor, the way a business manages quality is an important part of the conversation. This audit result provides a current example of our commitment to independent assessment and consistent technical delivery.

Maintaining standards across our fire protection projects

Our focus continues beyond the audit itself. We will keep developing the processes, communication and technical oversight that support our residential sprinkler installations, helping our teams deliver a coordinated service from initial design through to commissioning and handover.

We would like to thank Joe for his time and constructive approach throughout the assessment, and everyone at Detect & Protect whose daily work contributed to this result.
